Michael Odell Simpson

Michael Odell Simpson was born February 24, 1955 in Henderson, Texas. He passed away on April 16, 2024

at his home. Mike loved spending time reading the bible and worshiping God at the Baptist Church in Longview,

Texas. He was a proud Master Mason of Longview 404 lodge. Mike loved his country and was a proud Marine. He

enjoyed cooking, fishing, playing pool, and listening to music.


He is survived by his loving family: Daughters, Monica Michelle Wise of Austin and Naomi Sue Simpson of

Dayton, Brothers, Kelly Simpson (Neashia) of Tyler, Marjay Grisham (Lori) of Tatum, James Grisham (Sandra) of

Iowa, Sisters, Bridgette Grisham Huffhines (Mark) of Waco, Terina Heintz of Valley Mills, Grandchildren, Zhoe,

Tori, Julian, and DJ and 3 Great Grandchildren, Christian Michael, Elijah, and Giovanni. Along with a host of close

friends and loved ones.
