Chris “Utako” Davis

Chris “Utako” Davis passed away on Sept.5, 2021. She was born in Yokohama, Japan on Nov. 18, 1923 where she married James Floyd Davis who preceded her in death along with her late son Gary Dale Davis. She leaves behind a daughter, Janet Chambless, son, Derrick “Ricky” Davis, Jose “Chuyi” Davis, grandchildren: Rebecca Moore, Tiffany Land, Austin Davis, Whitney Davis, Maylene Davis and Sophia Davis along with several great grandchildren.

Chris, who was known as “grandma Davis”, loved to work in her garden and plant flowers. She was a very generous and kind person who was willing to help anyone in need. She will be missed by her family, friends and neighbors and remembered for her kind deeds.
