Dana Sue Lawson, 83, of Rockwall, Texas passed away peacefully on May 30, 2026.
Dana was born on November 6, 1942 in San Angelo, Texas to John Herman Glenn and Mabel Luttrell Glenn.
She worked over 30 years as a hairdresser and shop owner in Odessa, Texas. She also began a career in real estate and mortgage after relocating to the Dallas area. And in her later years, she served as the Mayor and City Manager of Mobile City.
She was a faithful member of the First Christian Church Rockwall for over 25 years. Also an excellent cook (famous for her pies with family and friends) and a fun loving character with excellent taste and a flair for always looking fabulous.
She is survived by her daughter, Terri Karr of Rockwall, TX and her son, Parker Lawson of Dallas, TX and her granddaughter, Sidney Karr (Jess) of Rockwall, TX, her sister-in-law, Patsy Glenn of Georgetown, TX, nieces Beth Pickett (Wayne) of Lewisville, TX and Kathleen Bruning (Walt) of Georgetown Texas and Nephews Jeff Glenn (Theresa) of Pflugerville, TX and Al Glenn of Austin, TX.
Dana was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Bill Glenn and Jim Glenn and her sister, Janelle Allen.
