Darrell “Wayne” McAnally

Darrell “Wayne” McAnally was born January 17th, 1949 in Seymour, Texas to Kenneth and Mae McAnally left this world on December 29th, 2022. The family moved from Houston to Jacksonville in 1965 where he attended school and played football. He later completed some college courses and worked as a laborer. Wayne was an avid reader, a nature lover and enjoyed hunting, trapping, and fishing along the Neches River. Wayne is preceded in death by his father Kenneth McAnally, sister Elaine Harley, and brother Paul McAnally. He is survived by daughter Angela DeFoore and grandchildren of Brownsboro, Texas; mother Mae McAnally of Jacksonville, Texas; sister Debbie Gauntt of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma; brother David McAnally of Jacksonville, Texas, along with many family and friends.
