Dennis Elbert Moss

12/07/1942 – 09/05/2026

Dennis Elbert Moss was born December 7, 1942 in Nashville, Tennessee, the first child of Dennis Liberty Moss and Eva Harlow Moss. He was followed by two sister and two brothers, who loved their "Bubba" dearly. After serving as a medic in the Army, Dennis met the love of his life, Tony Ware, who mistakenly called him "Danny". The name stuck and the two spent the next fifty-five years together raising animals and growing plants. Dennis was a dedicated partner and caregiver, a handyman that could fix anything, and a captivating storyteller.  Dennis passed from this earth on September 5, 2026, in Jacksonville, Texas. He will be sorely missed by many.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Eva Moss, his sister, Geraldine Moss Taylor, and his husband Anthony Lee Ware.

He is survived by his brothers, Donald Moss and David Moss and his sister Patricia Dunn, and numerous family and friends.
