Chapel services will be held at Boren-Conner Funeral Home, Jacksonville, on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. for Jewell Alice Beasley, age 69 of Jacksonville with Bro. Jim Slocumb officiating.  Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery.

Jewell Alice Foshee Beasley was born in Sealy, Texas to Julius and Emilie Brast Foshee on January 17, 1952.  She lived in the Jacksonville area all of her life.  She was a member of the Rocky Springs Missionary Baptist Church.  She passed away in a Jacksonville hospital on July 17, 2021.

Jewell was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Beasley, her daughter Kasey Beasley and her brother, George Foshee.

Jewell is survived by her two daughters and a son-in-law, Jaimie Beasley and Joy and Casey Davis of Jacksonville, a sister, Beckie Kennon of Jacksonville, a bother and sister-in-law, Ernest and Judy Foshee of Harlan, Indiana, three grandchildren, Jessica Fortune and Austin of Morristown, TN,

William Davis of Rusk and Hunter Davis of Jacksonville, and one great granddaughter, Emilie Fortune of Morristown, TN.

Pallbearers will be Marvin Weeks, William Davis, Clayton Kennon, Casey Davis, Shawn Davis and Edward Starling, Jr.  Honorary pallbearer will be Hunter Davis.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Boren-Conner Funeral Home, Jacksonville, TX.
