Joan Maudean West

Joan Maudean West went to her heavenly home February 28, 2026. Maudean was born November 5, 1929 in Brownsboro, Texas to Arch Lee and Ida Mae Grandbery. She is proceeded in death by her parents, one son Paul Collin Clayton, three sisters, Lucille Holifield, Orene Adams, and Jewett Anderson. Three brothers, Thurman Granbery, Archie Lee Grandbery, and Norman Granbery. She is survived by one son, Mike Clayton of Tyler, Texas and sister in law Carol Granbery of Denver, Colorado along with several nieces and nephews. Maudean was very active in her church and sang in the Seniors Choir making several concert tours across the country. She was honored to have served thirty five years for Hospice of East Texas. Her love for other people was exceeded only by her love for Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior. Jesus was the centerpiece of her life. Many thanks to Hospice of East Texas and Marde Stanford for the excellent care they provided.
