Jose Enrique Saldana, 80, of Tyler, passed away in his home on Tuesday morning, August 4, 2026. A visitation with family and friends will be held on Friday morning, August 7, 2026, at Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Bullard, from 10:00am – 12:00pm.

Jose was born in Mexico on July 15, 1946, to parents Abraham Sanchez and Tomasa Mendoza. Jose was a Machine Operator by trade using his skills to serve the Automotive industry. Jose was a hard worker who loved family dearly – he will be missed by all.

Jose is preceded by his Father, Abraham Sanchez, Mother, Tomasa Mendoza, and Sister, Celia Saldana.

Jose is survived by his Daughter, Theresa Quijas (Patrick Webber), Son, Enrique Saldana (Diane Mittleider), Son, Thomas Saldana (Sylvia), Son, Sergio Salinas, Granddaughter, Gabriella Saldana, Granddaughter, Lillian Saldana (Derrick Stuck), Great-grandson, Dailan Saldana, Grandson, James Broadnax, Jr., Great-grandson, James Broadnax, III, Grandson, Brandon Broadnax, Sister, Cecilia Velsco (Rafael), Sister, Mary Frida Gallardo (Juan), Sister, Lupe Sanchez (Delfino), and many other friends and family members.

Final Resting Place will be Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Wayne County, Michigan.
