My mom, Linda Guy, fought long and hard against dementia but she led a full life involved in many things besides raising us three kids. She was an avid church attender at both Ponta Baptist Church in Ponta and Beall Chapell in Jacksonville.
She was very immersed in Eastern Star, the Cherokee County Extension Club, and the Houston Police Officer's Wive's Association.
She always stood with my dad and had many adventures enjoying a long 67 years together (if they were still here today it would have been 71 years).
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Guy, her son, Billy Guy, her parents, Fenton and Emma Plymate, her sister, Barbara Robinson, and nephew, Mike Plymate. Her surviving children are Terry Guy and myself, Cindy McIntyre.
Her grandchildren are Salena McKean, Cody Guy, Brandon Gary, and Heather Bixby with seven great-grandchildren, Brooke McKean, Cole McKean, Mia Gilson, Lily Gilson, Ivy Gary, Ava Bixby, and Emmaline Bixby. She had many friends, loved well and laughed often. We will miss her. I love you, Mom!
