Morgan, born June 9, 1981, in Rusk, Texas, passed away surrounded by family on the afternoon of May 23, 2026.

Morgan was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter and friend whose presence left a lasting impact on anyone who knew her.

She was fearless, adventurous, fiercely devoted to the people she loved and always willing to help anyone in need. Morgan loved deeply and supported others regardless of what she herself was enduring. She was truly a warrior who fought courageously for a very long time.

Morgan was quick-witted, strong-minded, and at times had a sharp tongue that made those around her laugh. Her smile could light up the room and her personality was unforgettable.

She never fully realized the impact she made on others, but she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Morgan was preceded in death by her son, Caden Nettles, her father, Gene Nettles, her grandparents Robert and Necel Nettles and Arlon and Loma Carroll; sister Crystal Jones Cudd and nephew, Trevor Lawson.

She is survived by her daughter, Autumn Stewart; stepdaughter Macey Montgomery; parents, Larry and Carla Moore; stepmother, Lisa Nettles; sisters, Miranda Yates, Andrea Gregory, Andrea Moore, Shannon Carroll, Kristin Weems and Donna Lawson; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.

Funeral services will be officiated by Rusty Sherman on June 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at My Comfort Cemetery in Maydelle, Texas.

Arrangements are under the direction of Boren-Connerr Funeral Home in Bullard, Texas.
