Mrs. Marian Leslie Lindsey, age 67, of Bullard, passed away early Easter morning, April 5, 2026. She was born December 12,1958, in Bethpage NY, the daughter of Quentin and Dorothy Johannes.

A longtime resident of East Texas, Marian served 31 distinguished years with the Jacksonville Police Department. She worked her way through the ranks and retired as the Communications Supervisor in December 2016. She was also an active member of Jacksonville First Methodist Church.

‍Marian is survived by her mother Dorothy Johannes, husband George Lindsey, two sons, Joshua Lindsey and Jeremiah Lindsey, granddaughter Aurora Lindsey and two brothers Dave Johannes and wife Esther, Danny Johannes and wife Debbie as well as sister-in-law Lesa Lindsey. She also leaves behind many other family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
