Paul Arnold Murrell
February 21, 1967 – July 6, 2026
Paul Arnold Murrell, age 59, passed away on July 6, 2026, in Conroe, Texas.
Paul was a hardworking man with a personality all his own. He enjoyed collecting watches and took pride in his firearms and caring for them. Those closest to Paul will remember the stories, laughter, conversations, and many memories they shared with him throughout his life.
Paul leaves behind his beloved wife, Christina Resundra Swim Murrell, with whom he shared his home, his life, and many cherished memories.
Paul had no biological children.
He is survived by his sister Paula Murrell Clark and her partner, Robert Cain; his sister Charlotte White; John Acrey and his wife Louise; his sister Leona Raines and her husband Jimmy; his sister-in-law Sharyl Rodgers and her husband Mike; his stepdaughter Jennifer Tanner; Brock Tanner; and Christina's grandchildren, Brandon Swim, Isabella Swim, Mossalynn Swim, and Dawson Tanner. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Paul shared a special relationship with his mother-in-law, Peggy Herman, whom he affectionately called "Mom."
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Verna Ruth Gilmore.
Paul's passing leaves an emptiness in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His memory will live on through the lives he touched and the moments shared with those closest to him.
His family finds comfort in the words of Philippians 3:20–21:
"But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ."
Rest peacefully, Paul. You are loved, you are missed, and you will never be forgotten.
A Celebration of Life honoring Paul will be announced at a later date.
