Sandra Hunt Gill "Meme" of Frankston passed away August 9, 2026, in Tyler, Texas. She was born July 25, 1944, in Jacksonville to Tolbert David Hunt and Elizabeth Gibbs Hunt.

Sandra was a mom and best friend to all of us. She gave all of her time, love, and devotion to her family. She enjoyed going on trips and spending time with the people she loved. She was always there for her family—to pick them up when they needed her, comfort them when they were hurting, and make memories with them that they could treasure forever.

Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, William Anthony (Tony) Gill; her parents, Tolbert David Hunt and Elizabeth Gibbs Hunt; her brother, Kenneth Hunt; her father-in-law, Roscoe Gill; her mother-in-law, Ahnolia Gill; and her brother-in-law, Larry Gill.

She is survived by her grandson, Brandon Gill and his wife, Amanda Gill; her son, Michael Gill of Rusk; and her sister, Linda Garner of Jacksonville. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Scherri Davis and husband Jimmy of New Summerfield, and Mary Ann Gill of Beckville, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Sandra's love for her family was at the heart of everything she did. She leaves behind a lifetime of love, memories, and moments that will remain in the hearts of everyone who knew her. We will always be thinking of her and miss her dearly until we see her again.
