Sheila Diane McGuire, 76, of Tyler, passed away early Saturday morning, July 5, 2025. A Memorial Service will be held to celebrate her life on Friday, July 11, 2025, at Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Bullard, to begin at 2:00 pm. Bro. Adam Morrow will officiate the service.

Sheila was born in Tyler, Texas, on September 4, 1948, to parents James and Frances Long. Sheila worked as a Laboratory and X-ray Technician for 46 years before retiring in 2015. She had a large family that she loved more than anything in this world; her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her greatest accomplishments. Sheila adored the beach, all things Christmas, the Hallmark Channel, sharing all her favorite baking recipes, and Jesus. She never met a stranger and made everyone feel like family.  She was a cherished wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend who will be sorely missed.

Sheila is survived by her Husband, Albert Lee McGuire; Sons, Alan Skaggs, Jeff Skaggs, Darrell Bowman and wife Kathy; Daughter, Kristie Maatouk and husband Moe; Step-daughter, Kandyce Taylor; Bonus-daughter, Kelly Jenkinson; Grandchildren, Jennifer Bonnell, Chelbie Serpas and husband Tyler, Taylor Skaggs, Kristopher Skaggs and wife Julia, Joshua Skaggs, Matthew Skaggs and wife Alexandra, Andrew Skaggs, Tyler Skaggs and Katelyn McGuire; 14 great-grandchildren; Sisters, Teresa Vanderkooi and Connie Long.

Sheila is preceded in death by her Father, James Worley Jefferson Long; her Mother, Frances Diane Long; her Brother, Trey Long; and her Sisters, Shelley Long and Laura Hughes.
