April 9, 1934 – January 10, 2023

On January 10, 2023, we lost an earthly angel, Shirley Hood, age 88, of Bullard, Texas. She went to be with her heavenly father, husband, and son. She was born April 9, 1934 to Harold and Dorothy Hargrove from Seminole, Texas, where she grew up. She met the love of her life, Guinn Hood, in Seminole and married him in 1952. Four children were born from this union, Greg Hood, Paul Hood (deceased), Lisa Hedges, and Eric Hood. Shirley was a devoted Christian, wife, mother and grandmother. There was nothing that made her happier than being surrounded by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by sons Greg and Eric Hood, daughter Lisa and son in law Roger Hedges, 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Private services will be held at a later date.
