Virginia Lee Woods Todd Jordan, age 88, went Home to be with Jesus on May 24, 2021, at Meadow Lake Senior Living Nursing Facility in Tyler.  She was born in Denton, Texas, on July 25, 1932, to Vernie and Billie Woods.  She married Douglas W. Todd on April 19, 1948, and had three daughters, adding a foster son in 1965.  On October 5, 1979, she married Tom W. Jordan.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Douglas W. Todd; her second husband, Tom W. Jordan; her little brother, Lindley Woods; and her “son by choice,” Robert Rabourn.

Virginia was a stay at home mother for 13 years, then spent 25 years employed with Safeway Foods before retiring.  She worshipped her Lord and served at Forest Home Baptist Church in Kilgore for many years and in recent years worshipped at Trinity Fellowship Church in Tyler.  Her favorite things included reading, quilting, shopping, and hosting her large family.

Virginia is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Bob Ramsey of San Diego; three daughters and their spouses, Tomy and Jim Reynolds of Van Alstyne, Toni and Sam Willoughby of Liberty City, and Tammie and Phillip Little of Tyler; grandchildren (and their spouses), Tricia Reid, Tori Archer, Tara Romberger, Traci Duer, Melinda Domain, Jamie Thomas, Samantha Shipman, Gina Little, Angie Gideon, Roger Rabourn, Sam Rabourn, and Heather Hernandez; 16 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Annell Todd of Austin; and many nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2021, @ 3 p.m. at Trinity Fellowship Church, 10344 State Hwy 31 E, Tyler, Texas.
