William Anthony "Tony" Simmons Jr., 50, passed away on July 1, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Tony was born on June 22, 1976, in Tyler, Texas, to Janet Walker and the late William Simmons.

Tony was a man who truly loved the outdoors. Whether he was hunting, fishing, riding four-wheelers, or simply enjoying God's creation, he was happiest when surrounded by the people he loved. He never met a stranger and had a way of making everyone feel like family. He was known for his humor, his big personality, and his unforgettable saying that could always be heard around those who knew him best: "Waaaaaahhhh." It was more than just something he said ,it was part of who he was, and it will forever bring a smile to those who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Simmons, and his lifelong best friend, Michael Herring.

He is survived by his wife, Tanya Simmons; his children, Destiny Simmons and Taylor Simmons; his beloved grandchildren, Lane, Asher, Ayden Mitchell, and Laiklynn Simmons; his significant other Angela Woodall and his mother, Janet Walker; his sisters, Crystal Moore and Tonya Hudson; and many extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Tony will be remembered for his generous heart, his love of the outdoors, his humor, and the deep love he had for his family. His legacy will live on in every fishing trip, every ride down a back road, every sunrise in the woods, and every story shared among those who loved him.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing his pain has ended. The love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the memories he created will continue to live on through all who knew him.

He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
